Happy new year to all of you!!!! I wish to you the best!!! Personally I will not wish much for the new year, mainly to be healthy and to have the people we love with us, because in this life for better or for worse it is difficult to be on our own. If you read this article it means that the world is nit ended which is very pleasant. We have experienced this year also the magic of Christmas and we will continue to enjoy it for many years to come! I do not know about you, but for me this a wonderfull time of the year, mostly because no matter how difficult this times are the whole feeling of the holidays makes us more optimistic and with a giving mood to all around us.

Dodoni is located in the prefecture of Ioannina in Epirus, 22 km southwest of Ioannina, on the slopes of Mount Tomaros. We visited the archaeological site of Dodona and feel we should make a brief historical summary of this sacred place, which is in fact a miniature city, Dodonoupolis. As for the geographical position, the sanctuary of Dodoni is located in the center of a narrow valley on the eastern slopes of Mount Tomaros. Despite the sun and heat of

midday, we were not intimidated during the tour of the archaeological landscape, as a cool breeze came our way, probably due to the particular geographical location our ancestors had chosen!

Visiting Konitsa in spring! Konitsa is a picturesque town that is geographically located about 70 km north of Ioannina in Epirus. Located on the slopes of Tymfi and between the confluence of three rivers, Aoos, Sarantaporos and Voidomatis and counts around 5,000 inhabitants.
